Journal Works (1997-present)

The journals are an expansive.

There have been over 20 in the past 20 years.

A book a year, it seems, but not really. I made a lot when I was younger. For almost 8 years I did not work within the journal space. I was silent. I have returned to it after an extensive absence. They are different than before but the same, an extension of self as any artist will explore within the private pages between a much loved book of blank pages. For the past several month I have begun to focus on color fields, the photographic image, language, and exploring the inherent structure of the page. It is a homecoming of sorts.
